Due to continued growth they are looking to recruit enthusiastic, committed, reliable and proactive Deputy Manager to provide support the Registered manager to ensure high standards of care to the young people (CSE) in a residential children’s home.
All Therapeutic care workers must be able to demonstrate and share positive personal values and understand the complex trauma and dissociation. You will need to have good understanding and knowledge of children’s home legislation and quality care standards.
You will support and mentor their existing staff team to identify new and innovative ways to support the young people and care for them to enable them to live their lives to the fullest potential by feeling valued and secured. The role will involve daily management of rotas, training co-ordination and staff supervision.
Must be qualified to NVQ 3 Children and Young People and is desirable to have NVQ 4 or 5 Leadership and Management.
Applicants must have excellent communication skills, IT skills, and a mature, calm approach to the working environment. They will provide a full induction training, mandatory training and continuous professional development will be provided for all employees.
