Our client is responsible for providing fostering and residential services for young people across the Surrey area. The first residential children's home was opened to help children with complex needs, particularly young girls who had experienced trauma, and Schools provides special education for girls who live within their own families or in nearby towns.
When you join this company, you will be part of a team who are passionate about providing care. Their staff are dedicated to the successful transition of young people to greater levels of independence and they have helped many to live increasingly happy and fulfilled lives.
Due to continued growth they are looking to recruit a Residential Support Worker to support the team to provide a therapeutic environment, where the young people can feel safe and cared for, whilst coming to terms with their previous and often damaging life experiences. Providing quality care and support to all the young people.
It is essential that you have experience working in the residential services and working in a team. You must hold the NVQ Level 2 Health and Social. You will need to have good communication skills and the ability to listen to the young people.
You will be responsible to the Seniors and all levels of management.
It is desirable that you hold Level 3 Health and Social Care in Children and Young People.
