Senior Support Worker, Oldham

Are you a senior support worker looking for a step up in your career?

Have you managed an EBD Childrens Residential home or similar service? Children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Learning, Physical Disabilities and or complex needs?

Are you a car driver and feel confident attending meetings with professionals or undertaking assessments where required? if you dont drive still do apply as we have other services that may consider

Are you flexible and able to lead by example, been involved in sorting rotas and delegating work having the best interest of the young people?

If you have answered YES to the above: DMD recruitment an established health and social care recruiter that works with public and private sector organisations nationally is working with an established growing service and would love to hear from senior support workers that have their level 3 in children and young people/ residential childcare or equivalent to get in touch for an immediate chat.

If your working for a residential service but getting fed up as there is no progression but love what you do then this may be a new chapter that is shouting out at you.

Team Leaders are on a 2 week rota typical days can be as follows:

1st week: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday, 2nd Week: Thursday Friday

Now we all know that roles within the social care industry really have no job description but if you you have worked as a senior support worker for many years within a childrens residential role, are committed and have supporting children 8-18 with various needs emotional, behaviour difficulties, complex needs, autism or disabilities due to the level of importance of this role suitable candidates will be flexible, committed, passionate about seeing young people grow and love to develop.
